How will your show be judged?

This sets up your demo show's awards and judging style. It's just a starting point — you can change the awards and show options at any time.

IPMS-style placings Traditional competitive judging with one winner per place. Entries in each category compete against each other. Judges award a single First, Second and Third Place in every category, and a Best in Show is chosen from the category winners. The classic club-competition format used by IPMS chapters. Open format (Gold–Silver–Bronze) Standards-based judging — any number of medals per category. Each entry is judged on its own merit against a standard, not against the other entries. Every deserving model can earn a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal — there is no limit per category — and a Best in Show is chosen from the medal winners. Increasingly the norm for larger shows. Exhibition style Display-first show with limited, opt-in judging. Models are primarily on display rather than in competition. Each entrant nominates a small number of their entries for judging (3 in the demo) and those are judged open-format for Gold, Silver or Bronze medals plus Best in Show; everything else is exhibition only. Suits relaxed, community-focused events.
